Cranberry Dark Chocolate Cookies

  
You know how everyone has that one recipe that they swear by? That they keep making over and over again and never get sick of? Well add these cookies to the list, my friends.

These cranberry dark chocolate chip cookies are not only healthy, but they are moist and just the right size for a small treat. Made with spelt flour, natural sweeteners, and coconut oil, you won’t feel guilty about eating these.

Cranberry Dark Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cup spelt flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Trader Joe’s dried cherries
  • 4-6 tbs maple syrup or honey, depending on preferred sweetness
  • 4 tbs coconut oil
  • 6 tbs milk of choice

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Mix together spelt flour, salt, and baking soda
  • Add in wet in ingredients
  • Fold in cherries and chocolate chips
  • Roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon. They won’t spread so squish them down a little bit.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until they’re barely golden brown
  • Let cool and enjoy!
