Four-Ingredient Protein Pancakes

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Oh look, the chocolate-protein theme continues! Clearly, I can’t get enough of my protein powder.

Thankfully, these pancakes don’t have to be only made with chocolate protein, they can be made with any flavor. What I love about these pancakes is how simply they are—only four ingredients! They’ll simplify your lazy Sunday breakfast routine and make it (dare I say it?) even lazier.

Just a note, I opt for vegan protein powder, specifically Vega. It’s free of any funky chemicals, doesn’t make me bloat, and one scoop still provides 20 grams of plant-based protein.

Ingredients
Makes 5-8 pancakes depending on size

  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder (or whatever you have available)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup milk (nut or skim)
  • 1 egg

Directions

  • Whisk all of the ingredients together.
  • Spray a pan with a thin coating of non-stick spray and place over medium heat.
  • Pour small spoonfuls of the batter into the pan and cook each pancake for about 2 minutes on each side.
  • Top with fruit, nut butters, all-natural maple syrup, or a dollop of Greek yogurt.
  • Enjoy!
