20 Minute Medicine Ball Workout

When it comes to beating boredom at the gym, switching up the equipment I’m using is one of the most effective strategies to mixing up your routine.

Medicine balls are a great piece of equipment because they can be used to work the entire body, plus they come in “hard” form and “soft” form. I used the softer medicine balls for this routine because they allow me to perform slams, which work your arms and core.

Below are examples of each move and at the bottom is the entire workout. Be sure to integrate some cardio throughout, I chose jump ropes and burpees, but feel free to use your moves of choice.

Mountain Climbers
Overhead Ball Slams
Medicine Ball Squats
Medicine Ball Lunge w/ Twist
Medicine Ball Side Slams
